Daylight saving’s time wastes energy and money, this according to a UC-Santa Barbara economics professor and a Ph.D. student. They did a survey of how much Indiana spent before and after DST was mandated, and found that after it was mandated and it cost the good citizens of Indiana 8.6$ million more every year.
